TAKE ACTION

Fight for Democratic Party Progress (FDPP) is on the frontline, fighting to increase the number of Black students on college campuses.  Increasing Black students’ college enrollment rates directly challenges the Republican Party’s assault on diversity and inclusion in higher education.  We at Fight for Democratic Party Progress support an increase in Black students’ college attendance as a way to uphold Democratic Party values of fairness, justice, and equality for all. It is our belief that everyone should be able to earn a degree beyond high school, if they choose to, without money standing in the way.

Fight for Democratic Party Progress is committed to fighting on behalf of the entire Democratic Party coalition.

Engage in Protests and Demonstrations!

There is strength in numbers! Let’s use our collective voices to engage in protests and demonstrations showing our support for affirmative action in college campuses for increasing the number of Black students on college campuses.

Write an Op-Ed in Your Local Newspaper

Writing an op-ed in support of affirmative action policies in colleges and universities can lead to greater awareness about the importance of affirmative action for Black students and potentially support action and change.
